Madurai is the second largest city by area and third largest city by population in Tamil Nadu. The city has a number of historical monuments, with the Meenakshi Amman Temple and Tirumalai Nayak Palace being the most prominent. Rameshwaram is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga or abode of Lord Shiva. Palani is a famous pilgrimage town and every year more than seven million devotees visit the Palani Murugan Temple and offer their prayers to Lord Murugan. This temple draws the largest number of devotees in Tamil Nadu.

Day wise Itinerary for Pilgrimag of Madurai Rameswaram Palani 3 Night 4 Days

Day 01 : Receive in Madurai Station / airport - Check in to Hotel - proceed to adurai visit Madurai Meenakshi temple, Alagar Koli temple of Lord Vishnu , Tirupparankundram one of the six abode of Lord Subramanya , Pazamudir Solai one of the six abode of Lord Subramanya Night halt in Madurai

Day 02- Morning proceed to Rameshwaram - Visit Rameshwaram Temple one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temple or Lords Shiva abode, visit Agnitheertaham ,Danushkodi , Five Faced Hanuman Temple, Ram Sethu Bridge, you can also visit Abdul J Kalam house ( former President of India )

Day 03 - Morning proceed to Palani - Vsit Palani Murugan Temple one of the Six abode of Lord Subramanya - Night halt in Palani.

Day 04 - Post breakfast leave for Madurai - Shopping and drop at Airport / Station by evening for onward journey.
