Daywise Itinerary for Temple Tour Tamil Nadu 12 Night 13 Days

Day 01: Arrive in Chennai , Visit Parthasarthy Temple,Kapaleeshwarar temple . Night halt in Chennai

Day 2 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Kanchipuram at Distance - 62 kms. Have darshan at Chitragupta Temple and Ekambeshwara Temple. Evening have darshan at Kailasanatha Temple. Overnight at Tiruvanamalai.

Day 3 :- Thiruvanamalai - Visit Arunachaleshwar temple. Proceed to Chidambaram (170 kms - 4 hours). Chidambaram is one of the foremost Saivite shrines; the very name Kovil refers to Chidambaram, where Nataraja is enshrined in the Hall of Consciousness. Have darshan at Sivakami Amman Temple .Night halDeat in Chidambaram

Day 4 - Chidambaram - Karikal - Thiruvarur - Kumbakonam / Swamimalai - Early Darshan at Nataraja Temple and Proceed to Karikal (60 kms) visit the Sani temple and from here leave for Kumbakonam (100 kms). Enroute visit Sri Tyagaraja temple at Thiruvarur (Annual chariot festival held here in the month of April). Night halt in Kumbakonam

Day 5 - Kumbakonam / Swamimalai - This is the heart of Navagraha temples. There are at least 50 temples that can be visited in the area. Darasuram temple is also know and most visited. Option of two day extension to visit all the navagraha temple.

Day 6 - Kumbakonam / Swamimalai - Thanjavur - Trichy - Pudukottai Kumbakonam / Swamimalai to Thanjavur (40 kms). Thanjavur is home to the famous Brihadeeswara Temple, one of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. From Thanjavur to Trichy (55 kms). Trichy is a city home to Rockford Temple, Jambukaeshwar Temple. Night halt in Trichy

Day 7 - Trich to - Rameshwaram - Rameshwaram is about 160 kms. Visit the Jyotirlinga Shiva temple here and Proceed to Madurai (160 kms). Stay overnight at Rameswaram

Day 8 - Morning leave for Madurai - Morning visit Madurai Meenakshi temple and post lunch visit Tirupparankundram Murgan temple , Pazamudir Solai - Lord murugan  temple .

Day 9 Morning proceed to visit Palani Temple one of the Six Abode of Lord Muruga - Night halt in Madurai

Day 10 - Morning proceed to Pondicherry - Local Sightseeing visit Aurbindo Ashram  & Famous Manakulam  Vinayaka Ganapati Temple Night halt in Pondicherry.

Day 11- Morning proceed to Tirupati - Padmavati Temple , Govindarajaswami Temple , Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Tirupati Sri Kapileswaraswami Temple , Sri Kalyana Venkateswaraswami temple 

Day 12: Breakfast at hotel - Proceed to Venkata padam, Akash Ganga, Tirumala Darshan- Evening time permit visit  ISCKON temple - Dinner - Night stay in Tirupati.

Day 13 : Breakfast at hotel - Proceed visit Kalahasti Temple and return to Chennai airport by evening
